I'm partnered with an engineering firm looking for engineers to join their dynamic Land Planning team, where they leverage the combined expertise of civil engineers, landscape architects, planners, and surveyors.
Their multidisciplinary approach enables us to excel in projects of all sizes, from developing site plans to designing public spaces and bike / pedestrian paths.
They also prioritize green, low-impact features that enhance community quality of life. We are looking for passionate professionals to join the team!
Responsibilities :
- Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of major civil engineering projects.
- Lead the design team from project inception through to contract documents, construction administration, and final inspection.
- Supervise and collaborate with project teams.
- Review designs, engineering reports, plans, and specifications for major projects.
- Maintain the project schedule and deliverables milestones.
- Coordinate projects with clients, contractors, outside consultants, and internal staff.
- Communicate effectively with project team members, clients, review agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Utilize your expertise while continuing to learn and incorporate the latest technology and materials into project designs.
- Develop sustainable and ecologically-friendly solutions for complex challenges.
- Resolve complex problems such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitable materials, and coordination difficulties.
- Mentor team members to foster a dynamic learning environment.
- Ensure adherence to quality control processes.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in land and site design for residential, commercial, retail, healthcare, public works, or industrial projects.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
