2025 Summer Internship Program

Brown & Brown is seeking candidates for our summer internship program in our Minneapolis, MN office!

Our interns will be provided with the opportunity to gain an introduction to various areas within the insurance brokerage industry, as well as a deep dive into either the Employee Benefits or Property & Casualty teams.

Program starts May 28th, 2025 and ends mid to late August 2025

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

Work with assigned department adviser to train, receive daily work assignments, ask questions etc.

Each department will have a Sr. Representative speak to intern group to help them understand their department as it relates to the industry and organization.

There will be an opportunity to visit one of the carriers to learn about their organization and how it relates to the industry.

Interns will be included in a variety of activities such as marketing, policy review, client renewal presentations and onsite client meetings as available.

Opportunity to meet and work alongside a variety of students from varying schools.

Networking challenges - creating opportunity to meet and talk with all levels of the organization.

End of the summer intern farewell event.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED :

Successful candidates have shown balanced success in both academics and extracurricular activities.

GPA requirement is a minimum of 3.2 and involvement in combination of sports, student government, college clubs or community service.

Leadership activity in these events is a plus.

Work experience is desired.

Strong to excellent communication skills are required.

Brown & Brown looks for students entering their senior year in 2025 who are focused on a career in commercial insurance or employee benefits.

Pay Range

$15.57 - $15.57 Hourly
