PARKING/ SHUTTLE CASHIER
Location : HB Shuttle Description
The Parking / Shuttle Cashier, reporting to the Operations Coordinator, sells tickets to patrons wishing to use the parking lot / shuttle lot system and collects all pre-sold parking passes from patrons using the parking lots.
Position Elements :
- Prepare site for opening
- Sell tickets to the patrons wishing to use the parking lot / shuttle lot system
- Reconcile cash monies and tickets sold; verify any overages or shortages
- Direct and greet guests
- Read showcard and be aware of any special instructions given for every show (parking cashiers)
- Keep accurate time records and abide by the meal and rest period policy
- Assist other departments when necessary and as directed by a supervisor
- Respond to a wide range of customer service issues with sensitivity and care
Minimum Requirements
- Existing knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn the following :
- Ticketing policies and procedures
- Layout of venue and shuttle lot routes
- Credential identification
- Layout of venue and grounds
- Event times and program information
- Ability to :
- Work outside
- Bend, stand and walk (including hilly terrain and stairs) for up to duration of entire work shift
- Lift and carry up to 20 pounds
- Dedication and commitment to engage in and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the staff, vendors, and within interactions with the surrounding community is a must
- Secondary language fluency is a plus
COVID Workplace Safety Requirements
This position will require you to interact with employees, patrons, vendors and others who may or may not be vaccinated or recently tested.
You will be required to wear personal protection equipment (PPE) required by the LA County Department of Public Health protocols and the LA Phil.
