Regular Employee | Salary Exempt | $150,000.00 - 160,000.00

Overview

As the Plant Manager for Royal Truck Body (Aebi Schmidt Group Brands) based in Carson, CA, you will be accountable for planning, directing, and coordinating all aspects of safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people for the facility.  You will also be instrumental in spearheading operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and team development.

Core Responsibilities

Lead plant operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals

Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing and standardized processes

Oversee new product launches and ensure successful production ramp-up

Develop and manage department budgets and KPIs

Foster a positive, high-performance team culture

Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures

Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to solve problems and implement solutions

Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders

Works cross functionally with other inter-company brands

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field

10+ years of leadership expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Experience in vehicle assembly or similar production environments, preferred

Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills

Proficient in Microsoft 365

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proven track record of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

Bi-lingual in Spanish, preferred
