Overview of the Senior Accountant Role
In this impactful Senior Accountant role, you will :
Prepare and Post Journal Entries : Handle accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and cash transactions for accuracy in financial reporting.Assist with Budget Variances : Support the financial team in tracking and analyzing budget discrepancies.Review General Ledger Accounts : Analyze to ensure accurate and compliant financial data.Maintain and Reconcile Fixed Assets : Accurately track fixed assets and reconcile related accounts to ensure accurate financial records.Develop Policies and Controls : Help shape effective accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and optimal financial performance.Prepare Monthly Billing / Pay Apps : Generate pay applications for monthly billing cycles.Identify Process Improvements : Spot areas to streamline and enhance accounting processes.Support Audits : Assist with both internal and external audits.Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant
The ideal Senior Accountant will have :
