Our client, a well-established Property Management company based in Portland, is seeking a Staff Accountant on a temporary basis to help with additional workload.

What you will be doing :
- Prepare and post journal entries and reconcile accounts during the monthly general ledger close process.
- Generate financial statements and reports.
- Support regulatory reporting and compliance efforts.
- Create, review, and verify ledger entries and account reconciliations.
- Reconcile sub-ledger balances with the general ledger.
- Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules.
- Analyze variances between actuals and budgeted figures.
- Prepare cash flow projections and track daily cash balances.
- Assist in maintaining the Yardi Information System, especially in the general ledger and financial reporting modules.
- Occasionally supervise accounting staff.
- Contribute to budget preparation and monitoring processes.
- Assist in the preparation for the annual audit.
