Experienced Machinist (CNC Router)

Primary Responsibilities :
- Setup and operate CNC Mill, Lathe, or other equipment to effectively machine parts to required specifications
- Perform complex machining operations; with understanding of assembly fits and precision tolerancing
- Ability to modify machining code generated from CAD software to better utilize equipment's capabilities
- Create or modify G&M code to enable progressive machining of complete parts in CNC Mill or Lathe
- Accurately record data in ERP system to capture part movement and cost
Minimum Requirements :
- Minimum High School diploma, Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field preferred plus 1 year machinist experience or equivalent combination of education and / or experience
- Ability to read CAD drawings and blueprints
- Demonstrated ability to set up and operate CNC equipment
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
