One of the world’s largest producers of engineered lifting solutions, is looking to add a Field Crane Technician to their growing team of Professionals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
- Operates and inspects cranes to diagnose defects.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS, & MEGA-TRACK system.
- Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometers and gauges.
- Reads, understands, and interprets operating / parts manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Test mechanical, electronic, electrical, and hydraulic products and equipment after repair or modification to ensure proper
operation and compliance with OEM specifications.
- Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections.
- Properly fills out working reports, hours reports, time sheets, hours overviews and expense reports.
- Provides excellent customer service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS FIELD TECHNICIAN :
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechanic / Technician required.
- Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes;
Manitowoc EPIC and / or Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred.
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time to job sites (3-5 nights overnight per month), and for training as required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record required
JOB REQUIREMENTS SHOP TECHNICIAN :
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Mechanic / Technician required. (Vocational training may be considered in lieu of experience)
- Must be able to read schematics (both hydraulic and electrical) required
- Experience in preventative maintenance (oil changes) and light equipment repair (break jobs) required
- Light troubleshooting of electrical and hydraulic systems required
- Must have mechanical background and related experience with electrical and hydraulics
- Must have a clean background and demonstrate safe work habits
- Basic set of hand tools required
