About this role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Test Engineer to support and manage manual and automation test efforts. You should be skilled to adapt in a dynamic environment, manage changing requirements and plan effectively.

You should also be committed to developing skills to provide up-to-date solutions.

What you will do :

Analyze, design, and build manual and automated test cases based on system requirements and design specification. Understand functional content of assigned projects.

Applies advanced knowledge of QA principles, methodologies, and techniques to test and assure the quality of B2B, B2C software.

Designs the overall testing plan and master test schedule for simple level projects. Performs in a lead capacity role within the team in making decisions for the quality assurance of the project / application

Recommends quality improvement initiatives for future application / project releases.

Regularly coaches and mentors less experienced team members.

Efficient in managing requirements, stakeholder expectations, stakeholder communication, managing competing priorities

Analyze, design, and build automated test cases based on system requirements and design specification.

Understand functional content of assigned projects.

Required skills

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field required

7+ years in an Engineering environment with 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance domain leading and managing a team of people

Strong hands-on experience using Selenium.

WebDriver, REST API and Appium testing.

Ability to develop a test automation framework and optimize the existing framework as per the latest changes, TDD script and debug.

Knowledge and experience in testing cloud-based SaaS products.

Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills (both oral and written).

Ability to work with geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones.

Understanding of product development lifecycle with specific experience in using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Proficient in the use of automated tools used to support testing (e.g. test management, automated testing, defect tracking, etc.)

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 84,000 USD - 115,920 USD.

Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.

In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.

Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
