We are seeking a skilled and innovative contractor to join our team and help bring our AI-powered restaurant assistant “Dave” to life. This role is perfect for someone with strong full-stack development skills, experience in integrating voice AI (like ElevenLabs), and a knack for working with Shopify and Vercel-based projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Voice Assistant Integration : Implement and refine the “Dave” voice assistant using ElevenLabs and Twilio for handling phone orders, ensuring seamless interactions and order processing.
• Shopify and POS Integration : Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps and API connections that support restaurant-specific features (table mapping, coursing, kitchen printing) and integrate with our AIR (AI Restaurant) app.
• Roadmap Execution : Collaborate on and execute our development roadmap. This includes working on multi-tenant orchestration, endpoint configuration, payment provider abstraction (Stripe, Shopify, Square), and ensuring robust cart and order management flows.
• Troubleshooting and Resiliency : Address technical challenges such as connectivity issues, webhook integrations, and failover scenarios (e.g., how the system behaves if WiFi is down).

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in full-stack development, particularly with Node.js (ESM), Vercel deployments, and serverless functions.
• Familiarity with voice AI technologies (e.g., ElevenLabs) and telephony integrations (Twilio or similar).
• Strong knowledge of Shopify app development, API usage, and custom POS workflows.
• Experience with payment gateways (Stripe) and multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
• Ability to document progress clearly and collaborate on updating our design documents and roadmaps as features roll out.
