YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary :
The Industry Market Manager - Health & Nutrition Americas isresponsible for driving the financial performance and market growth of theNon-Branded Food Ingredients (NBFI) segment within the Americas.
Workingwith the IMM, Commercial and Sourcing Teams, this role will define and drivethe strategy for the Nutrition NFBI industry.
The Industry Market Manager- Health & Nutrition Americas is also responsible for effectively drivingthe safety, engagement, and other core values of Brenntag.
Job Description :
- Construct and once approved,implement Nutrition strategy for our portfolio : sourcing, preferred suppliers,growth targets, consultative sales approach, etc.
- Fullresponsibility for supplier management and interface
- Responsiblefor GP, sales & growth of a defined product category within NutritionAmericas :
- Activelysupport the sales team to create distinction between Nutrition and competition :
- Act as theNutrition product expert and drive market development with an emphasis on theAmericas for Nutrition.
- Manage,drive, and help execute opportunity pipelines.
- Attend andparticipate in sales and sourcing meetings when necessary.
- Providesales training to all aspects of the Nutrition organization on NFBIs.
- Publishmonthly updates on market dynamics, new issues, etc.
- SupportCorporate or Key Account Bid Teams when applicable.
- Definefloor and target prices for Nutrition and regionally managed products.
- Identifynew opportunities based on customer needs and market changes (communicateaccordingly).
- Launch newproduct lines and manage expectation.
- Implement& hold the buying team accountable for purchasing strategies.
- Ensurestrategy compliance for selected suppliers of Nutrition products.
- Constantlysearch for and execute margin optimization opportunities.
- NegotiateNutrition contracts : volume commitments, bonus, pricing, projects, etc. withLeadership approval.
- Executeefficient inventory strategies with the inventory management team.
- Design,implement and ensure maintenance of business metrics that support theattainment of key business objectives.
- Demonstrateand facilitate open and honest communication within the department and withemployees at all levels of the company.
Communicate regularly withpeers across the company and within the department on appropriate matters.
Additional Requirements :
- Ability totravel up to 50%.
- Ability towork under pressure and deal with erratic and demanding deadlines.

YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field is required.
- Preferencemay be given to candidates who possess a graduate degree
- 10 to 15years of professional experience in product management within the IngredientsDistribution or Blending / Manufacturing industry or at least B2B.
- A solidtrack recording of achieving revenue and gross profit growth targets.
