On-Site - Front Desk Representative / Receptionist

Schedule : Monday-Thursday 8 : 30-5 : 30, Fridays 8 : 30-3
Day to Day :
An OBGYN office in Atlanta, GA is looking for a Front Desk Representative to join their team. The Front Desk Representative will be responsible for working closely with patients to schedule appointments, check in & check out patients, verify insurance, document in Athena, help collect outstanding patient balances, taking and routing messages for CMA’s / Physicians, and perform other administrative duties.
The ideal candidate has a background in healthcare, outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and stable job history.
Must Haves :
- Athena EMR Experience
- At least 3-5 years of medical front office experience
- Outpatient setting
- High School or GED
- Experience handling insurance verifications
Compensation :
$15 / hr to $19 / hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
