Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Senior Manager to join our Market Partnerships and Performance team.

About the role

This role will execute on Oscar's company-wide goals and develop market-specific strategies to drive growth and strong financial performance.

This role will focus on driving strategic, streamlined, and collaborative partnerships with our largest health system & provider partners.

As the Senior Manager of Market Partnerships and Performance, you will facilitate short and long-term strategic partnership planning, build external-facing relationships with our largest current and potential health system & provider partners, and partner with internal stakeholders (e.

g., operations, product, clinical, legal, actuarial, sales and marketing, data, etc.) to ensure our provider partners have the information and support they need to provide best-in-class member care and drive quality outcomes.

This role also has the opportunity to grow into broader ideation, development, and execution of other market growth and financial performance initiatives.

You will report to the South Florida Market Leader (Associate Director of Market P&L).

Pay Transparency :

The base pay for this role is : $144,000- $189,000 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Generate industry relationships and outreach directly to current and potential network partners to coordinate growth, strategy, and other relationship management efforts.
  • Support and / or manage team members responsible for the servicing, education and communication to our provider network.
  • Help inform key business strategies to achieve market goals and mitigate risks.
  • Identify and guide team and org wide initiatives to improve growth, quality, and financial performance across the network.
  • Develop a provider network management & construction plan for assigned market(s).
  • Manage overall contract negotiations and strategies to bring new partners in our network and renegotiate current agreements.
  • Work closely with teams who monitor assigned networks to gauge compliance with standards and implement corrective actions to remediate deficiencies.
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree or 4+ years equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of professional experience in healthcare client management, healthcare consulting, or provider healthcare contracting, healthcare finance, performance management, healthcare operations, or a related field
  • 3+ years experience in process improvement and workflow design
  • 4+ years experience running financial analyses on a markets or product lines, and working cross-functionally to drive improvement opportunities and increase growth and profitability
  • 3+ years experience managing employees with demonstrated history of promotions, hiring, and people growth

Bonus points

  • Healthcare industry, ACA marketplace, quality of care, and / or population health experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience managing employees with demonstrated history of promotions, hiring, and people growth
  • Experience / background in a fast-paced environment

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
