Material Handler, Up to $19 / hr. - 1st Shift, Detroit MI

Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar role preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good physical condition, with the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and inventory management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Load, unload, and move materials within the plant using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Supply production lines with materials as needed, ensuring continuous operation.
- Maintain accurate records of materials moved and stored.
- Inspect incoming materials for quality and report any discrepancies.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including counting and organizing materials.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
