Medadventures is looking for a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team at a skilled nursing facility.

As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide essential rehabilitation services to help patients improve mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans to restore patients' physical function and mobility.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional activities under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes and improvements to the supervising therapist.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their therapy sessions to achieve their goals.
• Ensure patient safety during all treatment activities and assist with using assistive devices.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with facility regulations.

Qualifications :

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active PTA license.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on helping patients achieve their highest potential.
