As a Senior Test Engineer - Gaming, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of the technology and gaming industry.

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for testing and validating cutting-edge gaming technology and software. This role is perfect for someone who has a deep understanding of mathematics, gaming, and software testing, as well as proficiency in a variety of programming languages.

As a senior member of the team, you will also provide leadership and guidance, ensuring the highest standards of testing are met.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met.
  • Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the service or product.
  • Identify and remedy defects within the production process.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and product development teams during product design phase to understand product scope and then create appropriate test process and strategy.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ensure all gaming software and systems comply with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with mathematicians to understand the mathematical models used in our games and validate their implementation in code.
  • Utilize statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Game Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Test Engineer role or similar.
  • Proficiency in C++, C#, C / C++, and Java programming languages.
  • Experience with Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of mathematical testing and statistics.
  • Experience in the gaming industry, including a deep understanding of gaming regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a logical and methodical approach to testing.
  • Experience working with mathematicians and understanding complex mathematical models.
  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Passion for gaming and technology.
