Client is a prominent alternative investment manager specializing in private equity, credit, and real estate, with extensive networks across Europe and North America.

The firm is building an insurance platform, through M&A transactions and reinsurance. Good opportunity for someone looking to be exposed to the PE space while remaining a focus on Life / annuities.

The Role :

The Client is actively seeking a Chief Financial Officer to oversee the financial operations of its growing insurance platform.

This executive role is centered around management of the company's financial framework, encompassing legacy in-force and annuity reinsurance as well as the strategic acquisition and management of additional insurance companies and blocks of business.

The ideal candidate will be tasked with spearheading accounting, planning and analysis, capital and liquidity management, as well as tax and expense oversight.

This role demands a hands-on approach to ad hoc projects and deal-related analysis, ensuring the company’s financial health and compliance with all regulatory financial requirements.

The successful applicant will hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field, with a CPA, MBA, or CFA designation highly preferred.

A minimum of 15 years of finance experience in progressively responsible roles is essential, particularly within the life / annuity insurance and reinsurance sectors .

The candidate should possess thorough knowledge of US Stat, US GAAP or IFRS accounting standards relevant to insurance and reinsurance.

Experience in forecasting, budgeting, planning, and M&A activities specifically related to life insurance companies is crucial.
