Production Supervisor

Pay starts at $25 / hr based on Experience Job Summary : We are ready to immediately hire a Business Services Supervisor to oversee our digital printing, document production, and mailroom operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Digital Printing, Internal Mailroom and External Courier Services. Services we offer include : Brochures - Mailers - Large Format - Marketing Materials - Annual Reports - Saddle Stitch -Perfect Bind - Three hole Drill - Custom Cutting - Digital Printing (Color, B&W) - Match Mailing - Folding & Inserting - In House Messenging / Courier Services Duties : - Supervise and coordinate printing and mailroom staff to ensure efficient workflow - Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and shipments - Utilize AS400 or similar systems for tracking and inventory control - Oversee shipping and receiving processes - Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations for a safe working environment - Implement and maintain warehouse management systems - Handle e-commerce shipments and distribution center operations Qualifications : - Previous experience in a supervisory role within a mailroom or logistics setting - Proficiency with AS400 or similar software for inventory management Essential Functions : Process mailings to Printer equipment for printing via use of computerized data bases.

Ensure printing and the quality of printing and that mailing is completely processed. Ensure folding / inserting operations are maintained and that quality is also maintained.

Provide electronic status reports to customers daily. Provide daily affidavits of mailings to customers. Provide other such reports as needed to customers informing them of ongoing status of mailing.

Respond to customer inquiries either in person, by phone, or email. Provide direction to staff as needed. Responsible for general organization of the facility.

Look for cost-saving initiatives and recommend process improvements. Cross train staff in all aspects of mail and production.

Act as a backup to the Supervisor in all functions as needed. Printing internal and external print requests using Canon, Konica, Xerox, or other like equipment.

Experience with mailing equipment such as Pitney Bowes or Neopost devices as used for folding inserting and processing mail.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Minimum 3 years management experience. Excellent computer skills required. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.

Highly organized and detail-oriented. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Able to lift 50 lbs. Ability to assess and provide production improvements.

To be able to provide cost-effective methods for operational processes. Adaptability and flexibility to daily workloads and activities.

Comfortability with change. 3-5 years experience in Printing and Mailroom environment or equivalent setting. This position offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team in a fast-paced document production and mailroom environment.
