About The Position
Job Title : Infusion Pharmacy Technician II Job Specialty : Pharmacy Tech Inpatient Job Duration : 16 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (Variable start times between 07 : 00 - 09 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Experience : Minimum 2 years required License : Licensed by the relevant State Board of Pharmacy Certifications : All certifications must be American Heart Association (AHA) certified and valid at the time of submission Must-Have : - Experience with Epic charting (preferred)- Ability to undergo lab work within 3-5 days of signing- Background check compliance with any history noted prior to application Job Description : Provide timely and accurate pharmaceutical care.
- Prepare, compound, package, label, and dispense medication, nutritional products, IV admixture, and solutions such as chemotherapy and biotherapy.
- Manage and control inventory of medicine and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels, accurate pricing, and completion of required regulatory documentation.
- Adhere to all safety standards, procedures, cleaning protocols, and infection control policies to maintain a safe and sterile medication area, clean rooms, and laminar flow hoods.
- Work only 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday with no weekends required.- Possess a valid state license at the time of submission.
- Comply with travel requirements and allow for locals to be accepted at a local rate.- Must have completed orientation hours (16 hours required for the role).
This position seeks an experienced pharmacy technician ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
