Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Junior Program Financial Analyst with an interest in Earned Value Management to join a team of qualified, diverse individuals in supporting our Intelligence Community (IC) customer.
The selected individual will be responsible for implementing EVMS on the program and performing analysis of budgets and forecasts needed to meet contractual requirements.
The program is part of the National Security Space (NSS) Business Unit and contributes to the protection and defense of national space assets.
Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Support EVMS implementation and execution activities including :
- Learn the Cobra system and work to upload actuals / ETC / performance into the tool to assist in preparation of monthly IPMR CDRLs
- Build partnerships with Control Account Managers (CAMs) to support program execution while maintaining compliant EVM implementation in accordance Peraton EVMS System Description
- Incorporate contractual changes into the cost baseline, actuals reconciliation, prepare and maintain spend plans and develop and review Estimates at Complete (EACs);
incorporate changes into the EVMS system in order to maintain cost and schedule integration
- Assist Control Account Managers (CAMs) with EVMS activities that include : creating Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), developing and documenting earned value methodologies, proper time-phasing of tasks, performance measurement and VAR analysis research and reporting
- Performs analysis of budgets and schedules needed to meet contractual / project requirements for assigned portions of a program or programs.
- Assist with the interdepartmental development of program plans and interfaces with vendors and customers as required.
- Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.
- Prepares financial reports, statements, estimates (ETC, EAC), and other program deliverables to ensure effective management.
- Work with program teams to coordinate, negotiate and resolve financial compliance issues with various governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretation of contract requirements.
- Interfaces with management, responding to their requests for financial data.
Qualifications
- Active TS / SCI Clearance with ability to obtain polygraph
- Bachelor's degree Preferable in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and 2 years of experience. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Prior experience in Program Finance and supporting programs of complexity. EVMS experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be located in the DC Metro area and be able to work in Chantilly, VA
- Must possess computer skills using Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
