White Elephant Resorts is looking for a Boston based Sales Manager who shares a passion for hospitality and must be enthusiastic, energetic, and must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ideal applicant would thrive in a team environment, has an understanding of luxury hospitality and be willing ambassador for the White Elephant Resorts brand.

Applicants must have the flexibility to travel to and from Nantucket, Palm Beach and key local markets and be willing to work in office and / or on site at the hotels.

This is not a remote based position.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Manager prospects and sells our collection of luxury resorts, hotels and inns to all markets including corporate and social.

Additional responsibilities are listed below :

  • Identify and target new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling sales presentations and set goals for group room rates, room rental and food and beverage minimums.
  • Be analytical in rate setting and negotiate contracts with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote our brand and expand our client base.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.

Our Requirements :

  • We are looking for individuals who have solid selling and interpersonal skills and who demonstrate the energy and commitment to meet and exceed personal goals.
  • The applicant will have a proven track record in pursuing, evaluating soliciting, selling, and confirming business as required to meet individual goals and overall budgeted sales and profitability.
  • The ideal applicant would have a strong knowledge of the group market
  • 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Role is based in Boston, full time and in office. There is no remote work from home option. Some travel required, potentially overnight and weekends based on the needs of the business, predominantly to Nantucket and Palm Beach.
  • Successful candidates must possess legal work authorization in the United States
  • Experience with computers and Microsoft Office essential.

Sales Manager’s total compensation will include base salary, quarterly sales commission and annual bonus.
