Job Title : Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location : Santa Cruz, CA 95062

Shift : Days

Duration : 13 Weeks

Pay Rate : $50 to $55 hourly on W2

Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Santa Cruz, CA. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to patients of varying ages and needs, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.

Provide direct therapy services to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.

Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.

Educate patients and their families on speech-language pathology interventions and strategies for continued progress at home.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, progress, and treatment outcomes.

Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications :

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Current California state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of experience as an SLP, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
