MBS is hiring a Quality Technician. This position is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate the close of internal NCRs.
- Audit the production process.
- Test materials and products and create COAs.
- Develop & document testing processes.
- Work with Engineering & vendors to manage the calibration process.
REQUIREMENTS
- Audit production process.
- Review and approve incoming raw material COA’s / COC’s’Support the corrective and preventive action process by conducting lap tests (Hot set, Melt Index, Optical Comparator / Shadowgraph, Calipers, Micrometers, and other lab equipment as needed.).
- Assisting in calibration compliance, equipment verifications.
- Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.
- Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
- Collecting and compiling quality data.
- Assisting in the development of test methods and inspection plans.
- Determining the causes of product defects and reworks.
- Good communication (oral & written) skills.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- AMPP NACE Level I certification preferred.
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- Experience with AR, AP, Audits, Cash Flow, Closing preferred.
