YOU MUST HAVE :
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
- 10+ years experience in Capital Project Management in Chemical Industry
- Led and managed 1-2 large Capital Projects (Up to 30+ million)
- Familiarity with applicable engineering codes / standards and their application
- Working knowledge of equipment procurement and construction
- Strong estimating skills and experience working with contractors, vendors and purchasing
- Knowledge of SAP as well as the Management of Change process
- Strong teamwork, results orientation and organizational skills are a must
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrated problem solving and decision making
WE VALUE :
- Formal training and certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is desired.
- MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
- Prior chemical or industrial plant experience preferred.
- Experience in the management of financial budgets, projects, troubleshooting, team building, and overall leadership sought.
- Customer Focused - Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
- Technical - Understands engineering and project management principles. Experience in the use of SAP, MS Project, other MS Office Suite of products, and Primavera desired.
- Relates well to all levels and kinds of people (engineers, designers, craftspeople, accountants, suppliers, & construction contractors);
builds appropriate rapport. Listens well.
- Track record of successfully managing this magnitude of investments.
- Six Sigma Greenbelt (or Blackbelt) certification or equivalent experience implementing productivity / continuous improvement projects.
