About The Position

Pioneer Healthcare Services is looking for an experienced Outpatient OP Physical Therapist PT to join our team in El Centro, CA and provide therapy and rehabilitation services to patients in our physical therapy facility for a travel assignment.

• The ideal traveler is a compassionate healer who cares about their patients and committed to helping them recover their independence and mobility.
• We're looking for someone with experience working with a wide range of patient injuries and age groups, who is always ready to learn new techniques to further patient care.
• Outpatient OP Physical Therapists PT will be responsible for coordinating with any healthcare professionals that are working with their patients and referring patients to specialists when appropriate.

Duties and Responsibilities : Responsible for evaluation, treatment, plan of care and exercise prescription for patient caseload Provide accurate and timely documentation in EMR for all treatments provided Appropriate discharge management and patient follow-up Supervise support staff of PTA's and aides Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients in accordance with local, state and federal guidelines Requirements / Qualifications : California Licensed or License pending Physical Therapist Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred Strong clinical decision-making skills Works as a collaborative team member with other staff Strong interpersonal and communication skills Exhibits an engaging, friendly and professional demeanor with patients Commitment to practicing evidence-based medicine and providing the highest quality of care Pioneer Healthcare Services is located in beautiful San Diego and specializes in staffing and travel recruiting for nurses and therapists seeking jobs in the U.
