PA will have maximum exposure to difficult cases and work in the full continuum of cardiac care with a dynamic team! Requires licensure as PA with prescriptive authority. Experience Required.

Details of Position :
- First assist - Endoscopic vein harvesting experience required
- Provide leadership, direction and guidance to other APPs within the service line
- Collaborate with LMG leadership to establish work schedules, policies, standards and protocols along with the hiring and training of new APPs
- Assist in surgical procedures, including saphenous vein harvesting, endoscopic vein harvesting, open and closure of the chest, cannulation and decannulation, radial artery harvesting
- Manage post-op patient, including wound care, removing pacing wires, staples, sutures, chest tubes and central lines
- Monitor, consult and act as liaison between surgeon, patient, family and staff
- Collaborative team of cardiac surgeons and advanced practice providers
