DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of all machinery and safety of all buildings.
Perform diagnostic tests to ensure system functionality. Detect malfunctions through observation (sound, visual or computer diagnostic).
Make required repairs in a timely fashion.
Thoroughly clean machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.
Oil and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performance.
Order necessary parts to perform scheduled and nonschedule maintenance.
Build and maintain mechanical systems, to include the use of of a variety of hand and power tools.
Use of aerial / scissor lift to access areas at height for inspection and repair.
Use of forklift to move machinery and equipment for inspection and repair
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma preferred.
Completion of trade school or technical training preferred.
Minimum of three years of experience working in a production / manufacturing environment is preferred
Must be able to read and write to complete required forms in English.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.
Spanish speaker a plus.
Arrive at work on-time.
Comply with company policies.
Complete paperwork and related administrative duties.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office packge, to include Word / Excel and Outlook.
Could be exposed to temperature changes and loud noises with appropriate PPE.
Will work around chemicals with appropriate PPE.
