They are currently seeking a highly skilled LeadElectrical Engineer to join their team. This role offers anopportunity to work on cuttingedge projects and collaborate acrossmultiple functional groups within the organization.
Position Overview :
The Lead Electrical Engineer will be responsible fordeveloping electrical designs for medium and low voltage systemselectrical installations and control systems.
The ideal candidatewill have a deep understanding of engineering codes powerdistribution and experience managing projects from concept tocompletion.
This role requires exceptional organizational skillsand the ability to work under tight deadlines.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Developand review electrical schematics and onelinedrawings.
- Design systems includingduct banks embedded conduit cable tray grounding and lighting fromconcept to completion.
- Perform cable sizingconduit and cable tray fill calculations according to the NEC.
- Prepare specifications and select motorstransformers MCCs VFDs and UPS systems.
- Reviewproject specifications drawings and vendor documentation forcompliance.
- Lead project meetings andcollaborate with project management to ensure timelines are met.
- Organize and manage bills of materials andbuyout parts / devices.
- Communicate withdistributors customers and endusers to manage project expectations.
- Ensure all work is conducted in a professionaland safe manner adhering to safetyprotocols.
- Maintain project schedules hostinternal / external meetings and oversee the entire projectlifecycle.
Qualifications :
- Bachelorsdegree in Electrical Engineeringrequired.
- Strong knowledge of theNational Electric Code (NFPA Articles 70 70E79).
- Experience with low and medium voltagepower distribution systems.
- Proficiency inAutoCAD Electrical is preferred.
- Ability towork in the Kansas City metro area with occasional travel (land andair).
- Strong organizational communication andproject management skills.
- Ability to work inhazardous environments with appropriate PPE whenrequired.
- Legally eligible to drive and work inthe United States.
