Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, and repairing electrical equipment within a variety of environments.
This role requires technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with customers and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Troubleshooting : Diagnose complex problems and technical issues with electrical equipment, determining effective solutions to ensure operational efficiency.
Repairs : Perform repairs or replacements on malfunctioning equipment as necessary, ensuring all work meets company standards and customer expectations.
Maintenance : Conduct regular maintenance visits to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment, proactively addressing potential issues.
Installation : Install new equipment at customer locations, ensuring proper setup and functionality in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Training : Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of their equipment, enhancing their understanding and ensuring correct usage.
Documentation : Create comprehensive service reports and document all processes and procedures performed during service calls.
Safety : Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, identifying and addressing potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment for both technicians and customers.
Communication : Collaborate with technical teams and other departments, fostering positive relationships with customers and effectively addressing their needs and concerns.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Commitment to adhering to safety standards and protocols.
Education and Experience :
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant degree preferred.
- Prior experience in a field service role, particularly in servicing electrical equipment, is highly desirable.
