About The Position

ID : 51621057 Shift : 6am- 7p Description : Cardiology : is a unit comprised of 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs, and 2 dedicated Electrophysiology labs.

The unit has 23 prep / recovery bays. Invasive Cardiology completes over 6,000 procedures per year and offers advanced cardiovascular treatments including but not limited to complex coronary procedures, ventricular assist device (VAD) / ECMO, structural heart procedures including TAVR, left atrial appendage occlusion, PFO / ASD closure, mitral valve clipping, complex atrial and ventricular ablations, pacemaker / ICD implant & explanation, cardioversion, pulmonary artery pressure sensor implantation, peripheral intervention and pulmonary embolectomy procedures.

ASAP StartSHIFT-Will work either 8 hrs or 10 hrs between the hours of 6am- 7p- w / Weekends and holiday as needed by unit- Must be ok to staytilllast patient is cared for.

Perform scrub, circulate and hemodynamic monitoring duties with cardiac catheterizations using clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgment in accordance with professional and departmental standards and protocols.

Provides care, assessment prior, during and post-procedural instruction to patients. Prepares and maintains all pertinent information related to procedures.
