Occupational Therapist Outpatient Neurology
Location : Waltham MA
Occupational Therapy Department, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston MA. Experienced occupational therapist needed for treatment of patients with a range of neurological conditions in a rapidly expanding community clinic associated with a large teaching hospital.
Massachusetts General Hospital’s Outpatient Occupational Therapy Department services neurologic, orthopedic-hand and pediatric populations in thriving outpatient clinics that spans across multiple satellites in the Boston area.
We have a current opening for an experienced (3-5 years) occupational therapist to work with a wide range of neurological conditions such as Stroke, ALS, Parkinson’s Disease, Functional Neurological Disorders, brain tumors, traumatic brain injury and concussion.
OT candidates must have experience working with neurologic populations, a strong framework for clinical examination / evaluation skills, excellent communication and a clinical curiosity that drives learning.
Experience in program development, neuropsychiatric conditions and trauma informed care is a plus. MGH is committed to our staff’s professional growth and support clinical advancement through mentorship and education.
As part of a large teaching hospital, this position includes opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration with MGH’s leading clinical and research programs within the neurology department.

Qualifications
Minimum Master's Degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy; MA licensed.
