A company is looking for a Senior Project Design Engineer - Transportation Infrastructure to oversee design for a major rail project.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee design for the Frederick Douglass Tunnel Replacement Program, focusing on work outside the tunnelLead a multidisciplinary design team to develop designs and support construction effortsCoordinate with CMAR contractors, Amtrak, and other stakeholders to ensure project successRequired QualificationsMinimum of 12 years of rail project experience, with at least 5 years in interdisciplinary coordinationExperience in a major rail program with a project engineering or design coordination roleSubject matter expertise in rail infrastructure design technical disciplinesProfessional Registration is requiredFamiliarity with AREMA, ADA, and NFPA 130 related to rail passenger stations and tunnels
