Position Overview :
Madison County Schools in Danielsville, GA, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time role offers an opportunity to work closely with the Special Education department, with flexibility in grade level assignments based on candidate preference.
The position involves conducting evaluations and re-evaluations, with support from a psychometrist to manage the caseload.

- Position : School Psychologist
- Hours : Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
- Start Date : 2024-2025 school year
- Caseload : Approximately 50 evaluations (initial and re-evaluations)
- Work Environment : Onsite, with an office provided and assignments to 2-3 schools within the district
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for students across K-12.
- Interpret assessment results and provide diagnostic information and recommendations.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert advice on student psychological needs.
- Maintain detailed and confidential records of student evaluations and progress.
- Utilize the support of a district psychometrist to manage testing responsibilities.
- Adapt to the needs of the Special Education program as it rebuilds, offering flexibility in grade level assignments.
Qualifications :
- License : Valid School Psychologist certification / license in the state of Georgia.
- Experience : Prior experience in school psychology, particularly in conducting evaluations, is preferred.
- Skills : Strong assessment and diagnostic skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and thorough understanding of educational and psychological testing procedures.
- Requirements : Ability to work full-time onsite, managing a caseload across multiple schools.
