Finance Manager

The Jerry Seiner Dealerships is looking for an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager for our extensive import dealership.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Manage contract deals (retail, commercial, fleet) and complete required paperwork at delivery time.
• Sell products, such as extended service contracts, gap insurance, and theft deterrents, in alignment with 20-group Averages.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with multiple finance sources.
• Obtain necessary lender stipulations, review deal paperwork, and submit it for funding within three working days of delivery.
• Submit paperwork for finance deals and obtain approval from finance sources within 24 hours of the contract.
• Explain leasing concepts and benefits to customers, compute leasing charges, and prepare leasing contracts.
• Promote understanding of the leasing concept among dealership employees.
• Incentivize salespeople to sell finance and insurance following dealership policies.
• Provide salespeople with instructions on selling financing.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers to achieve reasonable profit from every sale.
• Establish finance forecasting to achieve desired penetration and income.
• Maintain insurance files and required licenses for selling insurance.
• Obtain and maintain AFIP certification.
• Maintain Daily Operating Control Log.
• Prepare monthly reports on finance penetration and share them with sales and senior management.
• Ensure the accuracy of paperwork (title, lien information, taxes, etc.).
• Handle rate quotations and collection of finance and insurance fees.
• Meet monthly objectives set by management.
• Conduct follow-up phone calls with customers as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by management.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• 2 years of automotive finance experience
• Degree or commensurate experience in finance.
• Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Excellent communication skills.
