Job Summary :
The Director, Global Affiliate & Referral marketing is a highly strategic role that will lead iHerb’s global affiliate and referral marketing strategy, working cross-functionally with our international teams, product teams, marketing operations and strategic partnerships teams.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for business development, ecommerce growth and global online marketing.
Job Expectations :
- Lead iHerb’s global performance commission-based affiliate, content, influencer and customer referral strategies to drive new and existing customer acquisition and growth.
- Develop and orchestrate a new referral partner recruitment strategy, as well as onboarding via both internal team and external agency and platform resources.
- Create strategic account plans to drive ongoing growth of existing partnerships.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and act as a close partner and resource to our international marketing teams to deepen market penetration of our performance affiliate business.
- Collaborate with product and IT teams on integration and new feature development across owned and licensed referral platforms.

- Own and manage the global performance partnerships budget, including forecasting, opportunity sizing, and international market priorities.
- Work closely with marketing operations and creative services teams to align with existing promotional calendar, as well as development of channel-specific creative and promotions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing channel lead and BI team to understand incrementality of referral channels, and adapt strategy to maximize impact of marketing investment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Required :
- 10+ years of affiliate, performance partnerships and / or customer referral program experience in DTC ecommerce.
- 5+ years of experience managing people and teams but is not above rolling up your sleeves to assist in execution. Needs to be comfortable with leading and doing
- Experience in growth-stage ecommerce company highly preferred
- Both a strong strategic thinker, with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative data / insights into strong marketing strategies, and a highly organized doer, with a data-driven mentality and a bias towards action
- Customer-oriented and hyper-analytical, with a positive, entrepreneurial spirit.
- Proven record of partnering cross functionally to drive top line growth
Equipment Knowledge :
- Deep knowledge and experience with top affiliate marketing platforms, including Partnerize, Impact, as well as affiliate networks like Commission Junction and Awin.
- Experience with Iterable or similar CRM platform preferred.
- Experience with Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
Experience Requirements :
Generally requires a minimum of ten (10) plus years of digital CRM, retention, and / or marketing operations experience, preferably in DTC ecommerce
Education Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

The anticipated pay scale for this position can be found below, however the pay range applicable to you may vary by geographic location based on where the job is located or where you work.
The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.
