Sr. IT Asset Data Analyst needed for an opportunity with SOC’s client to work Remote.
US Citizenship is a requirement of this contract.
Responsibilities :
The Sr. IT Asset Analyst is responsible for the strategic management of IT asset data within the organization. This individual will use advanced analysis skills to mine, cleanse and identify insights related to asset record health, accuracy, and other key attributes.
The individual will identify trends that may result in exceptions to policy / process and collaborate to identify and recommend data and / or process remediation plans.
This individual will analyze and manage pre-defined exception reports to maintain asset data quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze asset data quality for all Software and Hardware assets in ServiceNow, including capital assets
- Identify relevant data sources and repeatable processes to mine for data exceptions, compliance, and trends
- Present trends, issues, opportunities, and challenges using data visualization techniques
- Collaborate with technical teams, business analysts and process owners to communicate findings and identify remediation plans
- Design and publish reports including compliance, KPI and trend reports
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to data or process
- Contribute to IT asset management improvements and automation, particularly around inventory and asset management
- Contribute to a growing ITAM program by identifying gaps and influencing ITAM Governance standards
Qualifications
- Experience working IT Asset Management (ITAM) Projects
- Knowledgeable in ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Costpoint
- Knowledge in Hardware and Software Asset Management and CMDB
- Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis
- Experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and MS Power BI, working with large data sets
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst
- Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis

- Knowledgeable in ServiceNow (including HAM Pro and SAM Pro and CMDB), Splunk (preferred), PowerBI (preferred)

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with the System / Software Development Lifecyle and Project Management Methodology
- Familiar with Finance and Procurement processes (accounts payable, depreciation, net book value, fixed assets)
- Strong aptitude and drive for continual process improvement

In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual salary range for this role is $35.00 to $41.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
