Hematology Physician

New Hematology Physician Locums Job

We are working with a facility in need of Clinic and / or Hospital coverage. Their ideal scenario is one provider alternating 1 week inpatient and 1 week clinic per month, but they are open to separate candidates for clinic or inpatient.

Start date : Starting in November / December for ongoing coverage into 2026

Clinic Details :

Volume : 20-25 patients / day

Hem / Onc Split : 70% Hematology / 30% Oncology

Support : 4 Hem / Oncs, 4 APPs, full nursing and MA staff

Looking for 3-4 days per week for 2-3 week stints

Inpatient Details :

Need 7 days of coverage every 5th week to maintain their call ratio of 1 : 5

Weekday coverage along with weeknight and weekend call

Consults : 8-10 per day (consult-only model) - Census 40 patient

Hem / Onc Split : 60% Hematology / 40% Oncology

Call : Minimal call-backs outside of daily rounds

Support : Large hospitalist and critical care team
