Job Details
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the finance and accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements and efficient financial operations
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s growth objectives, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and other critical reports, ensuring adherence to GAAP standards
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management to support decision-making and drive business performance.
- Evaluate and improve internal controls and processes to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance and accounting function
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with financial objectives
Requirements :
- Candidates must live in the Central Florida region; this is not a remote work position
- Must have Automotive experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- A CPA license is strongly preferred or a desire to pursue a CPA license
- 3-5+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the central Florida area
