Nestl Purina has a proud presence in this mile-high city, having been in operation since 1930. Its first 42 years in operation were primarily to produce livestock feed until the plant transitioned into a pet food-only manufacturer in 1972.
Since then, the location became the first-ever pet food factory to utilize solar energy. To date, were proud to sustainably produce 260,134 tons annually of Dog Chow, Cat Chow, Kit n Kaboodle, Alpo, Beneful, Nestl Purina ONE Beyond, Nestl Purina ONE and Pro Plan.
As a Data Steward, you will be responsible for managing inventory control systems and associated data flow. You will identify, analyze and address variances while prioritizing multiple demands and providing direct support to cross-functional teams.
- Manage products in hold, salvage or aged status and correct inventory discrepancies in the finished goods stock.
- Set up and maintain product information in the system and perform cycle counts on a scheduled basis.
- Coordinate inventory monitoring activities between outside storage and the plant.
- Generate warehouse management system and SAP reports as assigned.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams such as production, quality and accounting.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience (Years / Type) :
1+ years experience with inventory control or warehouse coordination in a manufacturing, distribution, military or related environment
Must be willing to work a 2nd shift schedule.
This position has a minimum salary of $50,000. Please note that the salary provided is a good faith estimate for the position.
The final salary offer will be determined after reviewing relevant factors, which include a candidates qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
