About the Role
Torus, a leading innovator in the energy storage and management space, is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to spearhead several marketing domains including brand, product, and content marketing that drive awareness and adoption of our cutting-edge solar and battery solutions.
The ideal candidate will display the ability to align different marketing disciplines to achieve positive business outcomes, an interest in the renewable energy sector, and excitement about working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Own content calendar and collaborate with design and media teams to regularly produce compelling content that builds awareness and encourages conversion.
- Grow the brand through original campaigns and strategies that attract and inspire potential customers and affirm Torus’s brand attributes.
- Own positioning and develop strategic, insight-driven go-to-market plans for new product initiatives. Develop a deep understanding of where, when, and how people want to hear about our products.
- Plan and execute product launches, including coordinating with internal teams, developing launch materials, and managing communication with external partners and customers.
- Develop and manage performance metrics for product, brand, and content initiatives and use data insights to optimize strategies and tactics.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats and use this information to inform brand and product positioning and messaging.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop sales enablement materials, such as pitch decks, product demonstrations, and training content, to help them effectively communicate the value of our solutions to prospects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and engineering, to gather customer insights and product information and to align marketing efforts with business goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices across marketing disciplines and renewable energy to inform strategies and ensure our company remains competitive.
- Develop and execute comprehensive content, product, and brand marketing strategies.
Experience You’ll Need
- A minimum of five years of experience in content marketing, brand marketing, or product marketing. Experience in multiple marketing disciplines is a plus.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand, product, and content marketing strategies.
- Excellent copywriting skills, with the ability to create engaging and persuasive marketing content. Experience working in a creative role is a plus.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, articulate messaging.
- Strong technical knowledge, analytical problem-solving skills, and an approach to marketing decision-making informed by data.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment.
- Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to driving positive environmental change.
