Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be EPA Certified to work on HVAC units and possess strong abilities in drywall repair, appliance repair, light fixtures, and general maintenance tasks.
This role involves handling up to 15 work orders per day, ensuring our apartments are in top condition for new and existing residents.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems (EPA Certification required).
- Conduct drywall repairs including patching, sanding, and painting.
- Repair and maintain household appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and dishwashers.
- Install, repair, and replace light fixtures and other electrical components.
- Respond to and complete up to 15 work orders per day, ensuring timely and high-quality service.
- Assist with apartment turnovers, ensuring units are ready for new occupants.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues, including sinks, toilets, and leaks.
- Perform general maintenance tasks as needed to maintain property standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, property managers, and team members.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications :
- EPA Certification to work on HVAC units is mandatory.
- Proven experience in drywall repair, appliance repair, and general maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and light fixtures.
- Ability to handle multiple work orders and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform maintenance tasks that require climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods.
