Role Summary
As the Sales Director – Salesforce , you will own and grow both new-logo and expansion business for our Salesforce services and solutions portfolio—covering Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing / Account Engagement, Experience, Data / GenAI, and Industry Clouds .
This is a strategic, high-impact role where you’ll drive C-suite relationships , shape value-led, outcome-driven proposals , and close complex, multi-year, board-sponsored deals . You’ll also play a pivotal role in expanding our Salesforce footprint across key industries and building long-term client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the number : Build and execute territory and account plans to achieve ARR, services revenue, and margin targets.
- Pipeline mastery : Create and maintain a 3–5x qualified pipeline across focus industries (BFSI, Retail, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and others).
- End-to-end sales leadership : Lead the full cycle from prospecting → discovery → solution shaping with Pre-Sales → commercial structuring → negotiation → close.
- Orchestrate value propositions : Partner with Solution Architects, Delivery, and Marketing to craft repeatable, differentiated Salesforce offerings (accelerators, bundles, fixed-scope packages).
- Executive engagement : Develop C-suite sponsors, facilitate value workshops, and deliver board-level business cases to drive enterprise buy-in.
- Ecosystem collaboration : Co-sell with Salesforce AEs, leverage ISV alliances, and execute joint account planning and partner motions.
- Operational excellence : Maintain accurate forecasts in CRM; drive MEDDICC (or equivalent) rigor across opportunities.
- Commercial governance : Ensure clean hand-offs to Delivery and protect deal profitability through disciplined scoping and contracting practices.
- Voice of the customer : Channel client feedback to shape future offerings, solution IP, and industry playbooks.
Must-Have Qualifications
8–12+ years in enterprise services / solutions sales , with at least 5+ years focused on Salesforce services .Proven record of achieving $3M–$10M+ annual services bookings and closing large, multi-stakeholder, executive-level deals.Deep understanding of at least two Salesforce Clouds , with working knowledge of Data Cloud, Einstein, Mulesoft, or Tableau .Strong foundation in value-based selling (MEDDICC, Challenger, or Sandler) and building quantified ROI / TCO business cases.Proficiency with complex MSAs, SOWs, and commercial constructs (T&M, fixed-fee, managed services).Established network within the Salesforce field ecosystem (RVPs, AEs, CSMs) and industry buying centers (CIO, CDO, CMO, COO, CFO).Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and deal-desk navigation skills.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
New services and managed services bookings.Pipeline coverage (≥3x), win rate, average deal size, and sales cycle time.Gross margin per deal and revenue predictability vs. forecast.Co-sell influenced pipeline with Salesforce and partner attribution metrics.Expansion revenue within 2–3 quarters of initial land.Why Join SA Technologies
