Position Overview :
The Change Management Spcialist ensures all modifications to production systems are implemented according to corporate and regulatory standards.
This position is responsible for reviewing, administering, and implementing change management processes and procedures and for assessing change management needs.
Primary Responsibilities :
Rigorously reviews all planned changes to production environments, certifies adequacy of pre-implementation testing, verifies completion of changes, and assesses outcomes.
Develops, implements, and maintains change management policies, procedures, and associated training plans in line with ITIL standards, guides the organization toward change process maturity.
Leads change control meetings, participates in daily IT Operations calls as change management SME.
Creates metrics and reports team performance to IT management. Embraces a mindset of continuous improvement.
Trains IT team and LOBs on change policy, drives adoption and compliance.
Minimizes risk to corporate reputation through proactive identification of gaps in testing or change process.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
