- High school diploma required a degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field is preferred

As a Production Supervisor :
What you will do :
- Supervisory skills needed to oversee employees and coach them effectively.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including ability to spot issues in efficiency / productivity and suggest improvements.
- Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and developing personal growth opportunities.
- Maintains workflow by monitoring process steps, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods, implementing cost reductions, facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points, and initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
- Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
- Maintains quality by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Ensures equipment operation by calling for repairs and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
- Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions, and responding to requests.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources and maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Maintains a working relationship with the union by following the collective bargaining agreement terms.
- Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
- Ability to generate and submit reports on performance and progress.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned
Additional Qualifications Include :
- High school diploma required a degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field is preferred.
- Proven work experience as production supervisor or similar role.
- Working knowledge of various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Strong technical communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and results driven.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
