LEEP Forward is currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide quality pediatric therapeutic services. We are seeking an SLP with sensory integration and / or DIR / Floortime experience or interest. This job requires a playful, intuitive, and dedicated SLP.
We offer competitive rates along with mentorship from experienced DIR clinicians. You would be working in a trans-disciplinary environment supporting children in the classroom, social groups, and providing private individualized therapy.
We have both full and part time positions available.
LEEP is a trans-disciplinary clinic with Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Mental Health, Educational, Developmental and Behavioral services, as well as a variety of social groups, including Therapeutic Preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, and K-8th grade programming programming.
Children enrolled in our programming are between the ages of 2-15 years old with a variety of developmental differences, including autism.
LEEP Forward provides programming year round.
Job Responsibilities :
- Explore a child's world through play
- Build and grow meaningful relationships with child and team mates
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Conduct formal and informal Speech and Language Assessments
- Create developmentally based Speech and Language programming tailored to each child's individual profile
- Utilize multiple therapeutic philosophies and modalities when implementing programming
- Communicate therapeutic goals, strategies, and progress with families
- Provide accurate documentation to demonstrate accountability to various stakeholders
- Participate in clinical conversations
- Incorporate supervision feedback and coaching into daily work
- Lead small group programming
- Provide training through the lens of an SLP to entry level staff
