Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Burlingame, CA. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for building full-stack solutions, working across both the front-end and back-end to create seamless, responsive, and high-performing applications.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver exceptional products that meet user and business needs.
- Build core infra & product to serve Suger customers
- Work closely with our customers on onboarding, feedback collection, and day-to-day collaboration.
- Full ownership of the end-to-end product lifecycle, including identifying, designing, and building new features.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with production programming in at least one of the following languages : Python, Go, Typescript, Java, or C++.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, REST APIs & SQL.
- Experience with Terraform, Github CI / CD, Docker, and Kubernetes is a great bonus, but not required.
- Experience working on cloud platforms stack (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field

The base pay range target for the role seniority described in this job description is $150,000 - $200,000 in the San Francisco Bay Area, California.
Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors such as candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, total compensation, and market data.
In addition to base pay, full-time regular positions are eligible for equity, health benefits, and other benefits; some of these benefits may be available for part-time or temporary positions.
