Job Summary

The Director of Operations (DOO) will oversee the organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. As a key member of the senior management team, the DOO will report directly to the partners and establish policies that promote company culture and vision through its operations.

The DOO will be responsible for overseeing the complete operation of the organization in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans, with a particular focus on overseeing finance and workflow.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management : Direct and oversee the company’s day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Develop and implement operational policies and strategies with the partners.

  • Strategic Planning : Collaborate with the Partners in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs.
  • Performance Management : Establish and monitor performance reporting systems. Ensure continuous improvement in operational processes.
  • Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a high-performing managerial team to achieve key performance indicators. Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
  • Financial Oversight : Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure financial stability and growth.
  • Risk Management : Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic risks and opportunities. Ensure compliance with national and local business regulations.
  • Innovation : Promote the company's culture and vision through creative and innovative thinking. Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience : Proven experience in a senior operational role. Experience in strategic planning, business development, and financial management.
  • Leadership : Demonstrable competency in strategic planning, business development, and financial oversight. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Communication : Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving : Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Technology : Proficiency with business software and tools, including Asana, Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, and CRM software.

Work Context

  • Communication : Weekly meetings with the partners to set goals and agenda for weekly staff meetings. Create agendas and facilitate weekly staff of TPR.
  • Responsibility for Others : High level of responsibility for managing and overseeing multiple departments and teams.
  • Impact of Decisions : Significant impact on the company’s operational success and overall strategic direction.
  • Pace and Scheduling : Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

  • Project Management Tools : Asana, QuickBooks, Meltwater
  • Office Software : Google Drive, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Communication Tools : Zoom, Email, Mailchimp
  • Database Management : Mailchimp, Meltwater and TBD Database program.

Compensation

Salary : $95,000 - $110,000 plus insurance and benefits.
