Job Details

Responsibilities :

As a Civil Project Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations, managing all aspects of our civil engineering projects from inception to completion.

Your responsibilities will include :

1. Overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of civil engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

2. Utilizing AutoCAD to create detailed, accurate designs and plans for each project.

3. Coordinating and communicating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.

4. Leading and managing a team of engineers and other professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

5. Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

6. Preparing and presenting detailed reports and project updates to senior management and clients.

7. Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential project risks to prevent delays or cost overruns.

8. Ensuring all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices.

Qualifications :

The successful candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in civil engineering project management.

The required qualifications for this role include :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional engineering (PE) license is highly desirable.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects.

3. Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent computer-aided design software.

4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of professionals.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

6. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.

7. In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and industry best practices.

8. Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.

9. Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
