Position : Field Technician
Duration : 6 month contract to hire
Location : Metro Detroit, Headquarters in Rochester, MI (will be going to various hospital & health center locations within 20-mile radius of Detroit)
Must haves :
- 1+ years of help desk / break fix experience
- Familiarity working within a Windows 10 environment
- Knowledge of operating systems, PC hardware and software failures
- Eager to learn & work within a team environment
- Customer service experience
Plusses :
- CompTIA A+ certification
- Hospital or healthcare experience
- Service Now ticketing system experience
- Degree or additional certifications
DAY TO DAY :
Insight Global is looking for a Break Fix Technician to join a large healthcare company in Metro Detroit. This position falls within the deskside support group responsible for providing support to field users at hospitals, health centers, and outpatient locations and will be supporting a companywide technology refresh installation.
- Troubleshoot & resolve PC hardware and software failures
- Install net new PCs such as HP desktops & laptops within a Windows 10 environment
- Provide end user support through Service Now ticketing system
Compensation :
$20 / hr to $24 / hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
