Are you an experienced technologist who loves working with customers to understand their cloud needs, synthesizing data from multiple sources (e.

Do you like the idea of simplifying and creating broad, portfolio-level value propositions that make it easier for customers to understand how cloud technology can be applied in their businesses with high impact?

Yes? We have a role that you will find interesting.

At Amazon Web Services (AWS), Technical Product Marketing Managers work backwards from their understanding of customer and industry requirements and are able to connect the dots between various different AWS capabilities and services to make sure that we are building and marketing the right portfolios of offerings to meet and exceed the needs of our customers and that we’re able to clearly articulate the value propositions of our capabilities.

In this role you will leverage your own deep experience as a technologist who has worked closely with customers who use cloud capabilities, synthesize external and internal data from multiple sources, and work closely with AWS Product Managers across numerous different services.

You’ll help guide feature prioritization, ensure consistency between various different services, and own the development of crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging at the portfolio level.

You’ll have the chance to work on various different sets of these services and capabilities (including Analytics, Developer Tools, Compute, Databases, Generative AI, Observability, Security) based on your experience, interest, and aptitude as well as on new offerings while they are being developed.

We are looking for builders who have experience working directly with customers, analyzing and synthesizing data from multiple sources, and who thrive both when working closely with engineering teams to influence product outcomes and building value propositions that will educate customers on the value that technology can bring to them.

In particular, we are looking for individuals who can operate at both a broad and deep level; who can understand our technology with the same depth that our customers do, and who can think like a technologist and a business leader simultaneously.
